The one with the 8th birthday party
My nephew turned 8!! I know most of you are properly sitting there thinking erm … ok? But if you have any child around you, you start realising that the older they get the more you start realising how old you are and you start thinking fuck! What the hell happened? Now don’t get me wrong, life is amazing and I’ve started to learn to let go of the things that really don’t matter and start to ignore the things that mean nothing but when my nephew keeps turning to me to remind me how old he is and how old I’m getting I die a little inside but then I remember …. HA! He still has to go to school and do exams!!
He’s birthday this year was on a Thursday, so my mum, my sister, Leo and I took a trip to Gullivers world in Milton Keynes. Now for those of you who haven’t been there before let me just say this … You know what happened after the Chernobyl disaster in 1986? Lets just say that the way that that made this place look empty! It was so weird. All these old creepy statues around the rides covered in cobwebs, and the rides so creaky that you could have sworn you were about to die!
We did however, have a great time in the Nerf zone, shooting soft darts at other kids? … Perfection. (Pictures are on my instagram account)
On the sunday Leo had his party, naturally he had to dress up in his favourite goalie outfit.
We had a great time, well Leo did anyways, he grabbed his friend and didn’t stop playing footie, we also had a barbie, it’s not a party until you get dad/grandad cooking some meat!)
You know what kids also like? Cake and pressies The kid in the green top is his birthday twin and bestie, Grabial, they were born on the same day in the same hospital and my sister and his mum became friends after the boys started to attend the same school and she remembered my sister from the hospital.
I have to show you Leo and his little girlfriend, the one in the white, he deny's it but you can see the love! haha she loved the fact that she put purple in his hair and that he put lipgloss on! Look at their faces
Until next time my lovlies.
Love kisses and fairy dust wishes
